Safely using  of compressed air tank is a very important issue, compressed air tank before being used must be tested by KTAT, registered for use following regulations. Users must hand over the managing responsibility  the compressed air tank to the equipment manager in writing. Operating of thetanks is only given to people from 18 years old or older, who are physically fit and well-trained.  They must be assigned by the employer in writing.

Pressure explosion: There is a risk of explosion when heated, fallen, or impacted. . . or when the bottle is corroded, pore excessively.
Risk of explosion of chemicals, leakage of toxic substances contained in bottles.
Electric shock: The risk of electric leakage of motor shells, failed insulation and wires, ...

SAFETY RULES OF WORKING WITH COMPRESSED AIR TANK

Safely using  of compressed air tank is a very important issue, compressed air tank before being used must be tested by KTAT, registered for use following regulations. Users must hand over the managing responsibility  the compressed air tank to the equipment manager in writing. Operating of thetanks is only given to people from 18 years old or older, who are physically fit and well-trained.  They must be assigned by the employer in writing.
The compressed air tank must have the following safety devices:

Relief valve: : Properly install following design. The area of relief valve'svent-hole must not cut down. 
Pressure gauge: Pressure gauge should be equiped in compressed air tank.
Manometers must be designated  annually
Compressed air tannk  must be located at least 5 meters away from heat sources, not placed in flammable or explosive areas.
It is forbidden to place in or near to inhabited houses, public buildings or living facilities:
The containers contain non-corrosive, toxic or explosive substances with PV numbers> 10000 (P in Kg / cm2, V in liters)
The containers contain corrosive, toxic or explosive substances with PV> 500.
- For portable compressed air containers: Do not arbitrarily displace the machine and use the machine for other purposes without the consent of the device manager. Before moving the vessel, cut off the power and discharge the pressure in the tank.
CHECK COMPRESSED AIR TANK WHILE OPERATING
-Persons directly operating the tanks must regularly check the status of the operation  of the measuring instruments: pressure gauges, safety valves, pressure control relays. Operate the tank safely according to the factory's process.
-At the beginning of the operation, when the pressure in the tank reaches 0.5 (1kg / cm2, the operator needs to pull the safety valve lightly toventilate the safety valve and open the bottom valve to discharge the condensate or the remained oil at the bottom. After each working shift, the residue and standing water in the tank must be discharged
- Periodically clean the air filter of the compressor at least once every two months to prevent dust and impurities from entering the air suction pipes.
Disallowance
1. Welding, repairing cylinders and parts  of the tank while the tank is under pressure.
2. Insert a brake, add heavy objects or use any methods to add the load of the relief valve when the tank is operating.
3. Use a vessel that exceeds the technical specifications allowed by the technical safety inspection agency for the device. Do not operate the machine when the cover of the motor is not installed, when the relief valve is not perfect, the pressure gauge and relay operate incorrectly.

If the copressed air tank have some symptoms, immediately stop
a.When the pressure in the tank increases beyond the permitted level even though other requirements are guaranteed. b.When the safety components are not perfect.
c.When it is found that the main pressure-bearing parts of the tank have significant cracks, bulges, rust, steam, water in joints,broken welds and pads, ...
d.When there is a fire threatening to the pressure vessel. e.When the pressure gauge is damaged and unable to determine the pressure in the vessel. Other cases as specified in the operating procedure of the factory.
 

The causes of labour accident
Unsafe tank containing compressed air The compressed air tank are not audited to technical safety inspection, not registered for use. The tanks have been repaired not in accordance with the technical standards of safety , pressure vessels, on vessels without pressure gauges, relief valves. CO2 tank exploded the all bottom welding lines. The compressed air reservoir is corroded, the thinnest place is only about 1mm (compressed air tank is designed to have a 3.5cm body thickness). The compressed air containers are exploded due to not being able to withstand the working pressure of the vessel.
